Dental Hygiene Team

I am a Registered Dental Hygienist trained at the Canadian Academy of Dental Health and Community Sciences (CADH). I am experienced and have extensive knowledge about preventive care, periodontal therapy, digital radiography, and patient education, focusing on a client-centred approach.

I want to build trust with my patients, offering personalized care and helping them feel informed and confident about their oral health. I always make sure that patients have a comfortable experience throughout the treatment.

Outside of work, I enjoy time with family and friends, holiday outings, movies and reading, which help me maintain balance and energy in my work.

I’m Galen. I grew up in a small town and have been working in the dental industry since 2016. I graduated from the College of the Rockies in 2016 as a Dental Assistant and went on to earn my Dental Hygiene diploma with honours from Toronto College of Dental Hygiene in 2018.

As a dental hygienist, I take pride in not only helping improve my patients’ oral health, but also in getting to know each person as an individual. I believe providing personalized, comfortable care is just as important as clinical excellence.

Outside of the office, I enjoy being out on the golf course, spending time with family and friends,  and baking a few tasty treats.

My dental career started as a Dental Assistant in 2020.  I started working in the Lethbridge area and quickly fell in love with the dental field and decided to return to school to pursue Dental Hygiene.  Once, graduated, I moved back to my hometown in 2024 and began a position with Parkview Dental Centre.  I enjoy, on a daily basis,  getting to meet the people of the Brooks area and providing quality care.  My goal is to create a positive, trustworthy experience for each patient making them feel comfortable and more knowledgeable about their own hygiene at each visit.  Outside the clinic, I enjoy baking, going to the gym, hanging out with friends and family and time spent on the family farm.

Chelsea was born and raised in Brooks, Alberta where she began her career in dentistry as a Dental Assistant, where she spent seven years gaining valuable clinical experience, and building strong relationships with patients. She worked at Parkview Dental for four years as a dental assistant before going back to school to pursue her passion for Dental Hygiene and continuing her education at Toronto College of Dental Hygiene & Auxiliaries where she became a Registered Dental Hygienist.

Chelsea enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during their visits while providing thorough, gentle care. With her background in dental assisting, she works closely with the dental team and is passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health and preventative care to support their overall well being.

In Chelsea’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, their 2 dogs as well as friends & family. She looks forward to meeting you!
